‘Bumpy’ recovery for firms in the UK

According to a recent report UK firms should be prepared for a bumpy ride to recovery over the course of this year. Despite a fall in the number of profit warnings over the final quarter of last year the accountancy company Ernst & Young has stated that the recovery for UK firms is still likely to b a bumpy and challenging one, and that companies needed to prepare themselves for this. Still no major risk of recession

A recent report from the Ernst and Young ITEM club claims that despite the various factors affecting the economy and the financial climate in the UK, the risk of a recession occurring is still pretty low. The economy has suffered a slow down over recent months, and this is expected to continue over the course of this year.
